Phillip Eugene Tolley, 50, passed away at 8:15 p.m. December 6, at his home in Wabash, Indiana.
He was born in Rochester, Indiana August 16, 1960 to Samuel L. and Diana Jean Rayment (Gordon) Tolley, Peru, Indiana. He married Kathy Lynn Bowder, May 12, 2006, in Peru and she survives.
He was self-employed as a contractor in construction and home repair. He enjoyed hunting anything, especially deer. He also liked camping. He volunteered with the Miami County Speedway for the sprint car races at the Miami County 4-H Fairgrounds.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy; his mother; his step-mother, Betty Tolly, Mexico; three children, Tabitha Couchman (Kelly) of Santa Fe, Erica Pearson of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Phillip M. Tolley of Peru; three stepchildren, Kimberly (Charles) Frazier of Peru, Samantha Robbins of LaFontaine and Crystal Robbins of Marion; brothers, Rick Tolley (Cindy) of Wabash and Duane Tolley of Peru; and a half-sister, Sara Musselman of Denver. Also surviving are seven stepbrothers; three stepsisters; and 12 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel L. Tolley.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, December 10, 2010, at McClain Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Tolley officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Peru, Indiana.
