Robert Eugene Holland, 65, Macy, passed away at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at his residence.
Born March 13, 1946 in Macy, Indiana he was the son of Albert and Pauline G. Vayett Holland. On September 2, 1967 in Macy, Indiana he was married to Reba J. Holland, and she preceded in death on September 21, 2003. On November 10, 2007 he was married Carmen D. Holmes, and she survives.
He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Peru. He was an avid lover of cars and took great pride in his 1954 Ford Customline which he enjoyed showing others.
Robert leaves behind his wife, Carmen Holmes-Holland, Macy; three children, Linda Michelle Martin, Peru; Kristina Jo McIntyre and husband Shawn, Rochester; and Robert N. "Bobby" Holland and his companion Linnea Clemons, Peru; five grandchildren, Ross Martin, Peru and Sarah Martin, Lindenhurst, Illinois; Ashton McKee, Macy; Dustin McKee, Logansport; Johanna McIntrye, Rochester; two brothers, Paul Holland and wife Linda, Denver; and James Holland, Riverdale, Michigan; Mary Myers, Kokomo; and Waynetta Douglass and husband Melvin, Walton. He is also survived by the four children and families of his wife Carmen, Kristie M. Ossello and husband John, Topeka, Kansas and their children, Bailey, Kylie, and Jack; Sean G. Holmes and wife Sarah, Cleveland, Missouri and their children, Sage and Solomon; Kelley Douglass and husband David, Peru and their children, Rachel, Nathan, Hannah, and Kyndal; Erika Holmes, Centennial, Colorado.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2012 at McClain Funeral Home, Denver with Rev. Francis I. Kilcline III officiating. Burial will follow in Deedsville I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Charles Catholic Church or Helping Hands.
