Robin Elaine Gilman

Robin Elaine Gilman, 59, Peru, passed away on January 17, 2025, at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Indiana. 

 Born December 8, 1965, in Indianapolis, Indiana, she was the daughter of Charles Franklin Flitcraft, Sr., and Brenda (Clubs) Flitcraft. On February 28, 1988, she was married to Bobby Joe Gilman, and he survives.

 Robin graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis. She loved volunteering at the Miami Indian Nation Bingo Hall in Peru. She was known for her great personality, overwhelming generosity, and she will be remembered as a special and beloved friend to all, never having made an enemy. She loved spending time in her garden raising beautiful flowers and tending to her plants like they were her children. 

 Survivors include her husband, Bob Gilman, Peru; her parents, Chuck and Brenda Flitcraft, Peru; three daughters, Bobi Jo (Dewayne) Willis, Peru; Tiffany Gilman, Peru; and Brittany Gilman (Chad Gregory), Peru; four grandsons, Silas Allen, Simeon Allen, Oliver Gunter, and Magnus Gregory; two brothers, Charles Franklin Flitcraft, Jr., Peru, and Mark (Tina) Flitcraft, Indianapolis; and one sister, Lisa Miller, Peru. She also leaves behind her beloved cousins, several of whom she considered to be more like sisters.

 The family will host a celebration of her life later in the Spring.
