Shane A. Hostetler

Shane Allen Hostetler, 37, Peru, passed away at 8:48 a.m. Thursday, March 11, 2010 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born March 25, 1972 in Miami County, Indiana. He is the son of Joseph H. Hostetler, Jr. of Arizona, and Carol Sue Drake Duncan, Peru.
He graduated from Peru High School in 1992, and he was a student at Ivy Tech, Kokomo. He loved music, gaming, and collecting nostalgia.
Survivors include his parents, one sister, Beth Pond, Peru; two brothers, Jarred Hostetler, Denver, Colorado and Jeffrey Hostetler, Florida; maternal grandparents, Charles and Irene Drake, Peru; paternal grandmother, Mary Hostetler, Arizona; two nephews, Blake and Bryce Pond, Peru; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins in the Peru and South Bend area.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Gerald Hostetler.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Skinner Worship Chapel with Pastor Guy Woodhouse and Pastor Tom Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Peru.
Visitation will be from noon until 2:00 p.m. before the services on Tuesday.
