After struggling with illness for many years, Shar (as she preferred to be known) passed from this world keeping true to the joy of the Lord in her life.
Shar was born October 3, 1963 to William and Shirley (Trimmer) Stults. She attended Argos Community Schools, graduating in 1982. Shar lived most of her life in the Marshall and Fulton county areas. She worked several years as a nursing assistant at Woodlawn Hospital until her illness forced her to leave that job. Shar married Thomas Coahran on March 10, 1990. He was her source of true love, comfort and support. Shar was a Mother Hen to many, but she was Mom to her niece, Tina Ewing.
Shar is survived by her husband, Tom, Macy; daughter-of-the-heart, Tina Ewing, Rochester; and Uncle and Aunt, Ed and Josie Trimmer, South Carolina. She is also survived by siblings, Dave (Laurie) Stults, Argos; Janet Robinson, Chattanooga, TN; Judy (Kevin) Miller, Akron; and Bill (Lisa) Stults, Argos; and several nieces and nephews.
Shar was preceded in death by her parents, William and Shirley; her in-laws, Clair and Hazel Coahran; and brother-In-Law, Alan Robinson.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana, Skip Shambarger will officiate. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery, Macy.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday, at the funeral home.
