Sharon Ann Burns, 77, Twelve Mile, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Woodbridge Health Campus, Logansport.
Born October 10, 1947, Logansport, Indiana, she was the daughter of Eulan D. and Rose Hazel (Murphy) Ulerick.
Sharon was a 1965 graduate of South Caston High School. She was a lifetime member of St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church in Lucerne. She had worked for Taymor in Twelve Mile. In her childhood, Sharon was a Girl Scout, baton twirler, and participated in school plays. She loved boating, fishing, being outdoors in her garden, enjoying nature’s beauty every chance she got, but some of her best memories were flying with her dad in his airplane around the farm. She enjoyed just about every type of music, being with other people, especially each and every moment she was able to spend with family. She could light up a room with her joyous personality and made friends everywhere she went. Strangers soon became friends, friends became her family, and the more family she had, the more joy she found in her life. She lived life to its fullest, and every single party she hosted reflected how much she loved and enjoyed her life. Don’t forget to eat a morel mushroom in her honor this year and reflect on her kindness for others by sharing some with your friends!
Survivors include two sons, Scott Nelson Burns, Twelve Mile; Patrick Brian (Ladeema) Burns, Twelve Mile; three grandchildren, Patrick Mitchell Burns, Round Rock, Texas; Makenna Avory (Andrew) Corn, Rochester; and Arieon Kaylyn Burns, Twelve Mile; two sisters, Janet (Earl) Grauel, Twelve Mile; and Donna C.
