Sharon Kay Fulk, 70, Terre Haute, passed away Wednesday evening, July 20, 2011 at her residence.
Born November 29, 1940 in Brazil, Indiana she was the daughter of the late Ralph Lee and Opal Putoff McCullough. On September 27, 1958 she was married to Ralph Fulk, and he preceded her in death on February 16, 1999.
Sharon was a 1958 graduate of Clay City High School. For over thirty-seven years, she worked in the office of Great Scot, County Market, and Locust Street IGA. She retired last year.
Survivors include her three children, Terry Fulk and his companion Annette Anderson; Billy Fulk and his wife Cindy; and Lori Urton and her husband Raymond, all of Terre Haute. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Jeremy Templeton and his wife Sarah; Brandon Templeton and his companion Ashley Stultz, Richard Fulk, Evan Fulk, Jerilynn Urton, and Annaleah Urton; and three great-granddaughters, Ayla Dawn Fulk, Lorelie Rose Templeton, and Evelyn Shea "Evie" Templeton; four sisters-in-law, Georgia Fulk, Karen Fulk, Virginia Joan Fulk, and Edna Fulk; and one brother-in-law, Hal McClain.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Riley Chapel, Mattox-Fox Funeral Home, 6350 S. Canal, Riley, IN with Pastor Jeff Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Riley.
Visitation will be from 4-8 Saturday and one hour prior to the services Sunday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are being handled jointly by McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana and Mattox Funeral Homes, Terre Haute.
