Ty William Truax, 31, Peru, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2015, at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
Born April 6, 1984, in Peru, Indiana, he was the son of Toni Y. Truax.
Ty worked at several restaurants in Peru over the years, including Harvey Hinklemeyers and Arbys. He enjoyed cooking, collecting knives, and comics and action figures, especially Ninja Turtles.
He is survived by his mother, Toni Truax, Peru; and two sisters, Kaylaa Vanhoose and companion Michael Sheppard, Peru; and Jamie Lee Hurlburt and husband Kevin, Remington; uncles and aunts, Troy and Andi Truax, Peru; and Todd and Julie Truax, Peru; nieces and nephews, Jace, Matthew, Hollie, Haylie, Morgan, Kevin, and McKenzie; and best friends, Justin Springer, Adam and Aaron Hoover, Will Thorn, Jessie Smith, Arron Eudy, Kelsey Graber, and Daniel Baker; and many cousins and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Larry W. Truax, and June and John Goodnight and uncle, Robert E. Zimmerman.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
